This Wednesday, we have a good topic for our study group. “Books”, each one will share one of their favorite books, the new lesson we are trying to practice is to arouse others’ curiosity with English presentation.
The book I chose to present is “The boy in the striped pajamas”. The story is about two little boys who lived during World War Two, one is German; another one is Jewish, kids know nothing about war, but war is in their childhoods. These two boys had been on their adventures in very different lives until they met each other. Every afternoon, they sat and talked on both sides of barbed wire of Nazi concentration camp. The talk between them would not end when you close book, but go on and on in your mind after, to remind us to start a war is not only about us but also about kids in the world.
